This year I got the opportunity of a lifetime. Last night I went to Capital Distric's Handel's Messiah Sing-A-Long but instead of being one of the chorus, I was asked to sing the alto aria "He Shall Feed His Flock." It was a wonderful experience. The best part was getting to sit by the best singers in the house as we sang the chorus parts. Grey really enjoyed it too. He sat on my lap on the front row. A few of the other sweet chorus members held him while I sang my aria, and then he helped me receive flowers at the end. What a young professional he was.
