January Visiters

We had lots of wonderful visiters and help moving in January. Dan and Nashelle spent their holiday weekend dusting walls and shampooing carpets. Thanks Guys.

And Eric and Callie came for moving day. "The Girls" came to say, "hi."

MaryEllen has gotten to ride around a lot as we've unpacked and cleaned house. Jill decided that babies on backs are the way to travel.

Once again, bringing you Christmas in February

Thank goodness I'm not a department store, and I don't have the responsibility of getting you ready for the holidays. Thank goodness I have the wonderful pleasure of celebrating with you and keeping the merry feeling of Christmas in your life as long into the new year as I possible can manage.

And what a merry year it was for us.

MaryEllen loves Christmas. She loves everything, but she expecially loved this.

Jill received some lovey hairbands from Santa with the thought that maybe her mother could learn something new this year. She is much better at getting them out than I am at getting them in.

This was the only part that was a little troubling to little miss ME. She couldn't figure out why I kept handing her brightly wrapped packages that she knew she wasn't supposed to touch.

 

Santa was very good to us this year. He brought a grocery cart full of play food & a table a chairs to eat at.

 

We hope you ate well this Chirstmas. We sure did.

Catching Up

Although there were some days when I felt like it, here is photo evidence that I didn't come home from Texas in July and spend the next 5 months in bed.

At the end of July we went on a family trip to Yellow Stone.



In August we decided to get at least one camping trip in. We went up to Meadow Lake. Beautiful!!

In September we mostly just goofed off.

For Halloween we were Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. Here's Goldie, and Baby Bear visiting Grandma's House.

The last three months we have been harvesting the garden, canning fruits and veggies, and drying yummy things to snack on, like apples, apricots, and sunflower seeds. We're so very thankful for this year's good weather and big garden.

So there you have it. I'm not being to much of a bum, and life's little challenges haven't gotten the best of me either.
